🌟 RCWP Hosts SkillsUSA TeamWorks Competition!🌟 3/14/2025
Today, we had the pleasure of hosting CTE students and their instructors from East Providence, Ponaganset, Providence, and Warwick for the SkillsUSA TeamWorks Competition. This event, organized by Joshua Klemp, State Association Director at SkillsUSA Rhode Island, along with Nate Pimental, Mike Haynes, and Dave DaLomba of Nap Construction, was a fantastic showcase of talent and teamwork.
The competition challenged students to:
– Analyze project drawings
– Complete project timelines
– Professionally present their team projects
– Perform skills in residential carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and masonry
This event is designed to evaluate a team’s preparation for employment and recognize outstanding students for their excellence and professionalism.
A huge thank you to all the judges, including Building Officials Wayne Pimental, Matt Souza, Peter Lalongo, and Troy Alden. Special thanks to the RCWP team, including Ron Caniglia, Lou Cotoia, Cheryl Boyd, and Joel Fernandez, and all the Industry Experts who joined us today. Your expertise and support made this event a success!
