We remove obstacles to participation by providing support services like child care and transportation assistance, so that every Rhode Islander is able to take advantage of these opportunities. While using proven best practices, we are also making serious innovations, like deploying Artificial Intelligence to connect Rhode Island jobseekers with pathways to careers.

Builders Insurance Group was created in 2012 by the Rhode Island Builders Association (RIBA) (www.ribuilders.org). The idea was to provide Rhode Island’s residential contractors with a full-service, added value alternative for their specific insurance needs, conveniently located at their membership headquarters at 450 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Suite 301A, East Providence, RI 02914.

The Association has nearly 1,000 member companies in Rhode Island and is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders.

The Rhode Island Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association is committed to our members. The RILBMDA has developed a most respected government affairs program and became the first state in the Northeast to secure grant money for workplace training. We accomplish these milestones with our staunch supporters who allow us to offer social and educational programs to further benefit the industry.

The Home Builders Institute
The Home Builders Institute (HBI) is the nation’s leading educational resource for career technical education in the building industry. HBI provides its students with the skills and experience they need for careers in residential construction.
The organization offers pre-apprenticeship training, job placement services, mentoring, certification programs, and online learning across the country to youth, veterans, displaced workers and others who want to be a part of America’s trained workforce.
