OSHA 10 Construction Safety

OSHA recommends workplace safety training for a safe and healthful work environment, specifically for hazard avoidance on the job site. Our OSHA 10 online Construction training is 100% online and covers specific OSHA regulations and requirements as they apply to the Construction Industry.

Workers who successfully complete our OSHA-authorized course will earn their official OSHA 10 card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). Our fully narrated and interactive course is intended as an orientation to OSHA safety training standards. It covers safety and health hazards workers may face on construction work sites, placing special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.

First Aid

Initial Lead Safe-Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)

EPA developed this 8-hour training course to instruct renovators, painters, and remodelers how to work safely in homes with lead-based paint. This EPA approved course is designed for training contractors who work in target housing or child occupied facilities. Common renovation activities like sanding, cutting, and demolition can create hazardous lead dust and chips by disturbing lead-based paint, which can be harmful to adults and children. To protect against this risk, effective April 22, 2010 EPA requires this certification for all contractors who perform renovation, remodeling, painting, or maintenance in target housing to protect the families that live in these homes as well as the workers and their families.

Home Builders Institute (HBI) Pre-Apprentice Certification

HBI’s pre-apprenticeship program is designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in our apprenticeship program. Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) can help participants diversify their skillset and meet the basic qualifications for admittance into a formal apprenticeship program. The program includes approved training curriculum based on industry standards, education, pre-vocational services, hands-on experience in a simulated lab or with a volunteer opportunity, and apprenticeship application support.
